| Details: | It still breaks my heart. The first time in my life (including international travel) that I ever packed something so irreplacable in my checked baggage. On my flight from Kansas City to Miami 2 yrs ago- a large plastic bag was inside my suitcase. Within that bad, were all my most treasured jewelry items. These were not super expensive items mind you. To most they are useless. But to me they were precious and I have not recovered since losing them. The airline claims they are very sorry (Airtran) and denied they were stolen, but I hardly see any other option. They did not disappear.
Anyway, my point is. No matter to me what happened or how or who- I only want my items back. Even just one would be enough. My wedding band, which is distinctive because you will see a notch in it where it fits like a puzzle ring into my engagement ring (which was not lost) and more important still- a cheap, old, costume ring with a bright fake pink stone inside a bronze adjustable band. It was given to me when I was 2 by my father who died 3 yrs later, and it was all I had left of him as an adult following a house fire in my teens. I would gladly reward anyone coming forward with this bag of items WELL, especially if they also return my class ring (light blue stone, gold, my name inside L.A.H are my initials- and Cheerleading/Choir on one side) wedding band AND the costume ring. At this point ANY would be more than I have now. Thank you. I flew I believe May 2005 from KC KS to MIA. |
